About

How the Guild Runs
For now, raid nights, events and guild decisions are set by member polls in Discord. The MEE6 bot handles event scheduling and announcements, so watch the announcements channel for polls and sign-ups.
How Participation Is Tracked
Missions are called from the Watchtower, the command bridge of the Lantern Beacon. Attending them earns EP and progress toward promotion.
EPGP. You earn Effort Points (EP) for showing up and contributing: raiding, being on time, farming and helping out. When you receive loot, you are charged Gear Points (GP). Your priority is EP ÷ GP, so whoever has put in the most effort for the gear they have taken gets first pick.
Channel points. Taking part in streams and community events also earns channel points that count toward progression.
Ranks. Participation earns rank promotions. The top rank, Vanguard, unlocks upgrades and loot/event priority.
Rank Ladder
| Tier | Rank | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | REJECT | New arrival. Read the Codex and get involved. |
| 2 | TRUSTWORTHY REJECT | Completed onboarding and accepted the rules. |
| 3 | VETERAN | Regular, positive participation and good conduct. |
| 4 | STRIKE TEAM | Active in gaming events and organized squads. |
| 5 | LIEUTENANT | Recognized for helping members, welcoming newcomers, or organizing activities. |
| 6 | LOREMASTER | Specialty role: lore specialist who shares research. |
| 7 | VANGUARD | Highest earned regular-member honor, awarded by staff for consistent event participation, teamwork, helpfulness, leadership by example, and respect for the Codex. |
Staff
| Role | Duty |
|---|---|
| CHAPTER WARDEN | Moderator; enforces the rules fairly. |
| LORD WARDEN | Server owner. |
Earning Vanguard
Earned through service, not status.
- Join events: Darktide deployments, game nights, lore quizzes, tabletop, challenges.
- Help squads, teach newcomers, share lore, organize.
- Show sportsmanship and reliability over time.
- Event hosts may recommend; staff review and award.
One victory or attendance alone is not enough. No purchases, favoritism or event-spam shortcuts. Real life comes first; missing events never count against you. Vanguard is an honor, not authority.
